DAY 1 KAMPALA- KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL IN NORTH

After your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, You will be welcomed and picked by the tour guide drive and be transferred to Kidepo National Park using the shortest (656 km) route which will take you from Kampala – Soroti – Kotido via Amuria to the far North-East where Uganda borders Kenya and Southern Sudan. Travel time from Kampala to Kidepo National Park is about 9 Hours.

DAY 2 BIRDING IN KIDEPO

Have an early breakfast, and then you will be briefed by the tour guide about the activity. This park is well known for variety of birds such as pygmy falcon, the Egyptian Vulture, Varreaux’s and many other species. Return back to the lodge have lunch then relax. In the evening have visit kanangorok Hot springs where a variety of animals and birds can be seen roving around like the fast running Ostrich. Stopovers will be made at any time in order for you to be able to take pictures of fabulous wildlife and birds along the way. Dinner and overnight at the selected hotel.

DAY 3 GAME VIEWS AND CULTURAL PERFORMANCE

Have an early break then go for an early morning game drive around the park. You will be able to view different in the park such as hunting dogs, elephant, lions, leopards, bush pigs, striped hyena, cheetah, bat-eared fox, some various small cats as well as spotted hyenas. Have lunch and in the afternoon relax as you prepare for the next time activity. In the evening go for community walk and enjoy cultural performances, the performers have a wide range of traditional dances as well as songs such as larakaraka and Apiti dances performed by the native Acholi people. Dinner and overnight at the same place.
