4 DAYS DOUBLE GORILLA TREKKING SAFARI

A double gorilla trekking is where one is allowed and be able to visit the gorillas and trek more than one time on his/her Uganda gorilla safari.Bwindi impenetrable national park Uganda being a home to more than a half of these amazing primates with about 14 habituated gorilla families. These families are distributed in four various gorilla trekking sectors of this gorilla park thus Nkuringo, Buhoma, Ruhija and Rushaga gorilla trekking Furthermore interesting about double gorilla trekking is that again one is able to visit and see gorillas of different families either from the same sector or choose to do trekking in a different sector.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Upon the arrival At Entebbe Airport, you will be picked by our company driver guide who welcomes you. Start the journey from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Kisoro district which cover a distance of about 484km and takes 7 to 8hours driving. Make a stopover inMbarara for lunch at Agip motel/Café Havana/Shaheen restaurant. And a second stopover inKabale and drive to Lake Bunyonyi to sight the panoramic views of this beautiful lake. The lake is also known be the deepest in Uganda.Continue with journey to Kisoro district in the park and check-in at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stayGorilla Mist Camp/Silver back lodge/Volcanoes Safari Lodge Bwindi.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Nshogi

Have your early morning breakfast, head to Nshongi camp the home for gorilla trekking in Rushaga and you will be briefed before you embark on the Gorilla trekking experience. Have lunch at Nshongi camp.

After your lunch, go for Batwa trail experience and these are believed to be the first inhabitants of Bwindi forest. You will be guided by Batwa into the forest and get to know the activities they used to do in this forest and later on they will entertain you with performances in dance and songs.Dinner and overnight stayGorilla Mist Camp/Silver back lodge/Volcanoes Safari Lodge Bwindi.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Ruhija

You did not get enough time with these great apes? This is another great opportunity to spend time in this thick forest with the gorillas. Take your morning breakfast, and after head to Ruhija for another gorilla trekking experience. Enjoy your packed lunch in the forest and continue with the gorilla trek.Dinner and overnight stay Ruhija Gorilla Safari lodge/Gorilla Mist Camp/Silver back lodge.

Day 4: Depart to Kampala

 After your early morning breakfast, embark on the journey back to Kampala with lunch en route and a stopover at the Uganda Equator for photo shoots and shopping. Proceed to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight.
