6 DAYS UGANDA WILD LIFE & GAME ADVENTURE SAFARI

The wildlife in Uganda is composed of flora and fauna. Uganda has a wide variety of different habitats, including mountains, hills, tropical rainforest, woodland, freshwater lakes, swamps and savanna with scattered clumps of trees. The country has a bio diverse flora and fauna reflecting this range of habitats and is known for its primates, including gorillas and chimpanzees. Some 345 species of mammal and 1020 species of bird have been recorded in the country.

Day 1: Arrival
On arrival you will be welcomed by our company representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala. Dinner and overnight staySpeke hotel/Avesta hotel/Rochester hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After your early morning breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel in Kampala by our driver guide, and drive a distance of about208km and around 4hours to Lyantonde where the park is found, with an enroute stopover in Kayabwe for souvenir shopping at the equator and witnessing the water experiment at this spot.

Have a delicious lunch meal with in the park, and thereafter take pleasure in the boat trip along Lake Mburo which will reward you with sights of  species like the hippo and birds like African Fin foot, Pelicans, Black crake, Heron, cormorant, fish eagle; you may also sight the rare Shoebill Stork. Dinner and overnight stay at Mihingo Lodge/Rwonyo Camp/Arcadia cottages

                                                     
Day 3: Game Drive & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable

Have an encounter with the morning riser’s in the park in the morning game drive after your breakfast. Thereafter depart from Lake Mburo and drive via the lust and beautiful Kigezi hills to Bwindi. Arrival in Bwindi in the afternoon, have lunch and rest for the evening. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort/Engagi Lodge/Buhoma Community Bandas

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking

Wake up early and get ready to experience the once in a life time adventure of Gorilla Tracking. You will proceed to the park headquarters after your breakfast for a briefing about the tracking code of conduct and thereafter the rangers will lead you deep into this thick forest in search for the Gorillas. You will trail through the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures. Return to your Lodge for lunch and relax abit, afterwards go for a community walk in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort/Engagi Lodge/Buhoma Community Bandas

Day 5: Bwindi-Lake Bunyonyi

After your breakfast you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi accompanied by a scenic journey to Kabale through the beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake that will reward you with bird viewing and sight seeing. You will familiarize with the ways of life of the people in this area in the evening community walk. Dinner and overnight in Arcadia Cottages/ Bunyonyi Overland Resort/Heras Country Resort

Day 6: Departure

After your morningbreakfast, you will drive back to Kampala with an enroute lunch stopover.
